UN YPP 2016 Interview invitations are on their way!
The United Nations started to notify candidates on the written examination results of the United Nations Young Professionals Programme 2016. The first interview invitations were already received by a number of applicants.
If you are selected for the interview stage, you will receive a written invitation on your email from YPP2016@un.org by mid-July. If you are not invited for the interview, you will be notified via email.
Competency-based interviews at the UN are very intense – the official pass rate at the final UN YPP stage is 50%. The interview aims to test your compliance with the core values and competencies, therefore the questions which you will be asked are not ‘typical’, and you need to get ready for them.
At YPUN we helped many candidates (see the ‘Reviews‘ page) to pass the final stage by arranging a mock interview – a simulation of a real UN YPP interview where you will be asked competency-based questions, and will receive feedback on your performance. This is the best practice to get used to the format and content of the questions and found our where to improve.
